Coffee and a Danish (or Danish Metal to be more precise)

I woke up this morning on the eve of another long weekend from work...a morning coffee and a Cinnamon Danish were the order of business...its funny how looking at my danish made me think of the mighty Hatesphere (who I would argue with anyone, are one of the best metal acts of the last 20 years!!)



Low and behold when I get to work I find a post on Blabbermouth.net with a preproduction clip of Hatesphere's new material...strange how theme's carry through the day!!

With this is mind I thought I would recommend (to those who aren't familiar with the great work of Hatesphere) some of my favourite albums by Denmark's answer to Slayer \m/

Easter weekend off work

Well it's another Easter weekend..this year is flying in soo fast I can hardly believe it!!

Anyway I have time off and have been using it to do NOTHING ;p

As such I've got very little to update you peeps on but instead of not blogging for the next month (yes I know I'm guilty of that) I thought I would drop by n say hi :)

North Lakes Tattoo Convention - Saturday 16th April 2011

Well we went and we loved every second of it!!

North Lakes Tattoo Convention was a small, but extremely friendly tattoo convention with shed loads of familiar tattooist faces and many I hadn't heard of!!

Very excited as he was my first choice for my bear head design :)

Spawn of Dawn 2011

Well I finally got around to purchasing my ticket for Spawn of Dawn 2011.

I went to this event back in 2009 ... some may recall my blog Spawn of Dawn 2009 were I tried to verbalise a very surreal 12hour Horror marathon midnight to midday.

Motivation to finish my Slasher Sleeve!!

As many of you may have come to discover from reading my words over the last while...I am a massive horror fan. To be honest my favourite era is the Slasher films of the 1980's.

To pay tribute to this I decided to have a Slasher Horror Portrait Sleeve...4 of the biggest icons of that genre would be inked on my right arm and some the background filled with marcarbe goodies.

Funny how the little things stay with us!!

When I was 6 years old we had a primary school project on Japan..this is where my fascination with the land of the rising sun began.

As part of the project we got to pick an origami design and learn how to make the one we'd chosen.

I learned the Samurai Warriors Helmet...and to this day I can still make it.



Which helps when you are having as slow a day as I am at work!!
