Tattoo Tuesday

Well all I can say is that it has been worth the year wait for Thad Ritchey's
tattooing skills to dawn my flesh!!

His visit was offering some new designs with the option of a deal on payment if you picked a design he wanted for his portfolio.

I had chosen a dagger with a winged skull on the hilt piercing a bleeding rose...he gave me said design in 3hrs and on a scale which was epic.

My pretty lady Cozi had arranged to get a sugar skull circa the 1950's to go with her existing sugar skull she had done when we visited Sweden.

This is a pic of the sugar skull Jenny at Infamous Studio did in 2008

This is a pic of the sugar skull she got yesterday from Anthony at Lab Monkey

Next tattoo's will be at the London Tattoo Convention in September...can't wait!!

Much love

Sunday BBQ Shenanigans

Last night we were at Cozi's mum and dads for a small party/bbq to celebrate their 25th (Silver) Wedding Anniversary.

As usual I drank a tad too much (according to my wii fit I should try and indulge in moderation)

So for now the only pics I have are of my friends who where also in attendance. I will post pics of me and Cozi when I have had a chance to raid some bebo pages.

Here are a few of my favs from the night

John

Pete

John & Chelski - Pete & Kayleigh

Random-Ass Folk Enjoying the BBQ

Katlynn

Crazy Bitch!!

On Friday me and my pretty one went to Glasgow Garage to see Buckcherry pack the house out with more sleazy riffs than you can shake a thorny stick at!!

As usual the band blasted through there set with sexy laden riffs and plenty of machismo!!

Thad Fuckin Ritchey

Well I'm booked in for my new tattoo tomorrow with the man mentioned above...for those that follow my blog religiously you will know I have been excited about this day for months!!

I got the pleasure of sitting in with him as he worked on my wee bro John, a hefty 5hr affair that resulted in the tattoo below.

Roll on tomorrow...pictures will follow :)

New Tattoo Coming on the 28th

Well on Saturday I got the chance to have a quick sit down with Thad Ritchey to look over the designs he customised before leaving the USA.

I have went for a traditional dagger tattoo, the hilt of the dagger has a winged skull and the dagger is piercing a bleeding rose.

The placement of the tattoo will be the inside left calf muscle on the opposite side of my left leg from my skull tattoo I got last year for my birthday.

My new tattoo will add to my already growing collection.

Pictures of the new tattoo will be up as soon as the bad boy is inked :)

Violet Prison!!

Oh my god The Birthday Massacre played Stereo in Glasgow last night!! All I can say is that they were soo good that their performance has etched them into my top 5 live acts of all time.

They sounded immaculate on stage, their stage presence was a mixture of high octane energy with humble gratitude that people had come out to support their first Scottish date thus far into their career.

If the night couldn't have went any better I got a chance to meet some of the band.

Me and O-EN (Keytar Player...its was his birthday on the day of the gig)

Me and O.E (Bass Player)

Me and Chibi (Vocals)

The Birthday Massacre Tomorrow

I cant wait to finally see this band live!!!

4 years of listening and hoping have made my expectations very high indeed!!

Monday's Back at My Desk

And so another week starts, the sun is shining and I'm back at my modest public servants desk doing the good work. However I'm afraid I'm not really enthused today at all.

The weekend brought a lot of TV, DVD & chilling out and a trip to the cinema.

Bruno - Well I loved this film as its was uncomfortable comic viewing, Sacha Baron Cohen unleashes his new creation, Bruno, a gay Austrian fashion reporter trying desperately to become famous after he is ousted from the fashion community. Using various depraved ways to get famous this film pushes the comfort zone of main stream society...and gets a few giggles at the same time.

Dog Soldiers - I love this British horror!! Its a good 6 years old but whats not to like about Werewolves and the SAS going head to head in the Highlands of Scotland??

Outpost - I finally got around to seeing this Scottish horror and must say I effing loved it!! A group of mercenaries are recruited to escort and protect a scientist's trip to an old abandoned Nazi bunker..However when they find out that experiments in matter shifting have created zombie super SS soldiers the mercenaries are brutally slain one by one.

Medium Season 2 - Allison Dubois returns using her medium abilities and being sought out from the super natural world to help the District Attorney bring murderers to justice!!

Much love
